Post Production

Our main concern when editing was creating a fluent and continuous piece of film with the shots we had created. We used a Mac book pro to achieve this.

Luckily, the filming we had done made it easy for us to create the effect we wanted. Furthermore, we had hough extra film to play with, so we weren't limited for choice. Another pro was our ease when inserting credits in the film, as we had some creative places to do this.

However, it wasn't an entirely easy process. Our first draft of the film was 3 and a half minutes long, much over the required length. We had a discussion on what to cut, and decided to cut the first section with the police cars, and me running through the door. We also changed the point where we had the voice over. We also thought we had an accidental continuity mistake, in that we'd filmed a shot over two different parts of the day, meaning the light changed. This however made no difference, as it was taken out of the final cut.

This is the final result of our wound make up. The bruises on my face were applied by Faith, who applied the different layers with a sponge and brush. The broken nose and smudged blood on my lip was done by Tash, who smeared fake blood over bruises, to create a realistic effect. Finally, bruises were applied to make knuckles and elbow, and my shirt was dirtied. All this created an effective image, that our hero had been in many fights and other scrapesOur main concern when editing was creating a fluent and continuous piece of film with the shots we had created.
