This is my evaluation of the opening of Bram Stokers Dracula. I felt this specific opening was very good to analyse, as it achieves a lot with very little special effects, something which would be useful to emulate.
This is a compendium of directors who have inspired us in our creation of our film They are all masters of genre subversion and dark comedy.

I have done some further research into where our film genres started our from and found out how they expanded into the genre franchise we know today.
Due to our genre of film being partly based on Dark Comedy we thought it would be best to look into the typical conventions of comedy itself.
