Film opening analysis

This is my evaluation of the opening of Bram Stokers Dracula. I felt this specific opening was very good to analyse, as it achieves a lot with very little special effects, something which would be useful to emulate.

Prelim evaluation

This is our second version of the preliminary task, this time with a shot reverse shot!
In our preliminary task we had to:

• a shot reverse shot
• a match on action shot
• obey the 180 degree rule

The task gave us an excellent opportunity to test our shooting ability. There were several challenges to overcome, which we did with varying success.
positives:

• we added in a successful shot reverse shot, which didn't have before.
• we corrected a continuity error, as she runs up the stairs.

Improvements:

• ensure the continuity is perfect throughout, as there were some moments were it wasn't. 
• make sure that our cast and crew are available when we need them.

Our preliminary task, It is only a small piece, however we designed it to allow us to experiment with a variety of shots and angles. I hope you enjoy!
